It has been announced that the Off-Broadway production of Tomorrow Morning will open at the Theatre at Saint Peters on the 30th March 2011, with previews from March 21st. The cast will be announced soon. The show will be directed by Tom Mullen, musical direction by John Bell, costumes by William J. Morey and video design by Mike Tutaj. Produced by the York Theatre Company and Hilary A. Williams.

Tomorrow Morning is currently running at the Landor Theatre, Clapham starring Julie Atherton (Avenue Q) and Jon Lee (Les Mis, S Club 7). The show runs until November 13th. To book visit www.landortheatre.co.uk.

West End performer Stuart Matthew Price (best known for his role in Parade at the Donmar) has just released his debut solo album on the SimG record label, featuring the new song Goodnight Kiss by LMW. Fucking Men at Bailiwick Chicago has been extended for a second time and will now play through August 29th. The play, by Joe DiPietro, features original music by LMW. Tickets are at www.fmenchicago.com.

Laurence is composing the music for Joe DiPietro's play Fucking Men which is produced by Bailiwick Theatre Chicago, directed by Tom Mullen which is playing at Theatre Building Chicago throughout June and July 2010. 

The Australian premiere production of Tomorrow Morning will open in Melbourne on September 1st at the Treble Clef Jazz Lounge. November the 8th saw the West End Gala Concert of the premiere of Through the Door starring Julie Atherton, Paul Keating and Oliver J Hembrough. The show played to a packed house at the Trafalgar Studios 1 (mainstage) and the response from the audience was terrific. Plans are now underway for the next step for the show. Thanks to everyone involved on this production, from the cast, crew, choir and orchestra.

Tomorrow Morning has won the awards in both its categories - Best Musical and Best Artistic Specialization (Film & Video Design) - at the 2009 Joseph Jefferson Equity Awards in Chicago. The show won Best Musical - Midsize, alongside Broadway's Caroline, or Change which took the honor for Large musical. The award was received in Chicago at the ceremony in the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts by the show's producer Hilary A. Williams. The Chicago cast of the show performed an excerpt from the show at the ceremony - our thanks go to them for their generosity and talent.

It has just been announced that the Chicago production of Tomorrow Morning has been nominated for Best Musical (mid-size production) and Best Artistic Specialization (Mike Tutaj - Film & Video Design) awards at the 41st Annual Jeff Awards in the city, Chicago's equivalent of the Tony Awards. The much anticipated West End concert debut of Through the Door will happen on the mainstage of the Trafalgar Studios on the evening of Sunday November 8th, 2009. Work has begun on a new project, a first collaboration with bookwriter Katy Darby - this new musical has been commissioned by Korean producer Chun Soo Shin and will be workshopped later this year either in Seoul or the UK. The title of the show is Girlfriends and is based upon a current hit Korean play. It is expected that the show will premiere in the UK.

The Tomorrow Morning Vocal Selection songbook will be published within the next few months, and will be available to order via this website and from Dress Circle. If you would like to reserve a copy, please use the contacts page and you will be contacted when the books are available.

June saw a three day workshop of The Lost Christmas at the Hazlitt Theatre in Maidstone produced by Andy Barnes for Perfect Pitch Musicals. News of a 2009 production of this show will be annuonced soon.

May 2009 sees a further development reading of the new draft of Through the Door, written in collaboration with US based bookwriter Judy Freed. The reading is sponsored by Perfect Pitch which produced the West End showcase of the show in November 2009.

Suranne Jones (Coronation Street) and Julie Atherton (Avenue Q) will perform songs by LMW at the Theatregoer's Choice awards on February 15, 2009.

The U.S Cast album of Tomorrow Morning was recorded in Chicago at the beginning of December 2008, and plans are currently underway for a 2009/2010 Off-Broadway production. No release date has been announced for the recording.

Tomorrow Morning was nominated for four 2008 Spirit Awards in Connecticut from its production at the Spirit of Broadway Theater: Best New Score, Best New Lyrics, Best New Book and Best New Work. In Chicago, the show has been Jeff Recommended, making it eligible for nominations in the 2008 Jeff Awards.

The Chicago press reviews of Tomorrow Morning have been overwhelmingly favorable. The Tribune said "What could be better value for money?" and called it a "must-see work"; the Sun-Times said it was "deftly structured & neatly observed"... LMW's song Around the Corner will be performed by Zoe Rainey (Hairspray, West End) in the Christmas concert Christmas in New York at the Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue, on December 7th 2008.

Keeping musicals in the family, LMW's elder daughter Sophie (8) is currently appearing as Marta von Trapp in The Sound of Music at the London Palladium.
